Board Design Instructor

Real Time Group and College is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Board Design Instructor to join our training team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printed circuit board (PCB) design and layout, electronic design automation (EDA) tools, and real-world product development. This instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions, developing curriculum, and mentoring students or professionals in PCB and board-level design principles and practices.

• Deliver engaging and hands-on instruction in board design, including schematic capture, PCB layout, DFM/DFT considerations, and testing/debugging techniques.
• Develop and update training materials, course outlines, assignments, and lab exercises.
• Train students in the use of EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad, OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Coordinate with the education/training team to ensure curriculum alignment and effectiveness.
• Participate in course evaluations and curriculum improvement processes.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in PCB/board design and layout.
• Proficiency with at least one major EDA tool (e.g., Altium, Eagle, OrCAD).
• Solid understanding of electronic components, signal integrity, grounding, etc.
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Previous teaching or training experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IPC, RoHS, and ISO.
• Familiarity with multi-layer board design, high-speed digital design, and power electronics.

It is a 2x a week onsite opportunity from our Tel Aviv office. Hours 18:00 - 20:00.
