Applied Physicist

Become a part of a collaborative and hands-on environment that fosters engineering excellence, creativity, and innovation in the interdisciplinary areas of electro-optical design and testing, device fabrication and display technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, and characterize laser-based electro-optical systems.
• Develop, implement, and document experimental protocols and test methods for electro-optical setups.
• Gather and analyze system requirements; draft specifications for new optical components and equipment, and manage relationships with component suppliers.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary integration efforts, ensuring seamless collaboration between mechanical, optical, electronic, and software teams.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. (advantage) in Applied Physics, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in an academic or industrial laboratory.
• Deep expertise in electro-optical systems, especially laser and MEMS-based setups.
• Demonstrated ability to build, troubleshoot, and optimize electro-optical hardware.
• Experience in Augment Reality hardware/application development – an advantage.
• Familiarity with optical design and simulation tools (e.g., Zemax, OSLO, COMSOL) is a significant advantage.
