Head of AI

Mesh Security is on a mission to revolutionize enterprise security. Our platform enables full context, visibility, and control across fragmented security stacks—empowering modern enterprises to prevent, detect, and respond to threats in real-time.

We are seeking for a hands-on Head of AI to lead and scale the AI dimension of our product. This is a unique opportunity to build the AI foundation for a world-class cybersecurity platform—with an emphasis on AI Agents, and autonomous detection & remediation workflows.

You’ll own the AI roadmap end-to-end, working closely with R&D and product leadership, and mentoring our growing AI team. If you're passionate about turning AI innovation into real product impact—this is your role.

🚀 What You’ll Do

• AI Product Ownership: Define and execute Mesh’s AI vision, from ideation to deployment. Translate security product goals into actionable AI initiatives.
• Hands-on Leadership: Build prototypes, and deploy LLM-based agents that can detect, investigate, and recommend remediations for threats.
• Cyber Security Logic: Plan & execute the next generation of cross environment detection and response strategy using AI/LLMs.
• Workflow Automation: Design and implement intelligent pipelines for ingesting threat intelligence.
• System Design: Own architecture decisions around AI infrastructure, inference workflows, model evaluation, and continuous improvement.
• Team Growth & Mentorship: Grow and mentor a lean, high-performing AI group. Collaborate cross-functionally with product, backend, and research teams.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Evaluate and integrate new research and tools (e.g., RAG, agents, retrieval systems, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, etc.).

✅ Requirements

• 6+ years in AI/ML, with 2+ years in a technical leadership or founding AI role.
• Deep hands-on experience with LLMs, agents, and building AI-based products.
• Strong coding skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, LangChain, HuggingFace, n8n).
• Experience deploying AI systems in production environments
• Ability to translate product/security use cases into data/AI solutions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and building 0→1 systems in a fast-paced startup.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

💡 Bonus Points

• Cybersecurity domain knowledge or interest.
• Experience in threat detection, anomaly detection, or alert triage.
• Familiarity with enterprise security tooling (SIEMs, XDRs, SOARs).
• Past work with RAG, tool-using agents, or autonomous workflows.
• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Machine Learning, AI, or related field.
