Data Engineer

A startup company in the data domain, developing a cloud-based platform that enables marketing and sales teams to share business intelligence and generate insights about their target audiences. The platform also recommends relevant prospects, streamlining and accelerating the data collection process so that sales teams can focus on selling.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv (adjacent to a train line), the company has approximately 300 employees globally, including a secondary office in Boston. It offers a hybrid work model with two work-from-home days per week.

The role is part of a collaborative team, involving backend development in Python (candidates with backgrounds in Java, Scala, Kotlin, or Clojure are also welcome). Work includes handling data at scale using tools like Spark and Airflow.

Tech stack includes- NoSQL databases, Spark, Kafka, Athena, Elasticsearch, Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Requirements-

• 2 years experience in designing and implementing server-side Data solutions.
• 3 years programming experience, preferably in Python and SQL.
• Experience implementing algorithmic solutions, data mining, and analytical methodologies.
• Able to use orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
• Experience with Data Lake, Spark - Advantage.
• Familiarity with AWS ecosystem - Advantage.
• Familiarity with the following tools: Kafka,
