Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our core development team.

You will work closely with our Applied Science and Data Engineering teams to bring research-driven insights to life. From algorithm integration to backend architecture and cloud deployment, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of meaningful features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale backend systems that serve ML models and data workflows
• Collaborate with scientists and analysts to integrate models into production
• Build robust pipelines for processing and analyzing large-scale datasets
• Own services from architecture through CI/CD and monitoring
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence and curiosity

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Python or a modern backend language (e.g., Go, Node.js, Java)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
• Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable systems
• Comfortable working with APIs, databases, and infrastructure

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Applied Science or ML teams
• Hands-on experience with large-scale datasets, data-intensive applications, or distributed systems
• Background or interest in healthcare/digital health/clinical systems
• Familiarity with data pipelines, model serving (e.g., FastAPI, TorchServe), or real-time inference
• Contributions to open-source projects or scientific tooling
