Your Role as a Senior Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and enhance performance and availability monitoring solutions in Java
• Work primarily with Java, with some exposure to C++
• Analyze and deeply understand common frameworks, debugging and investigating their inner workings
• Develop high-performance algorithms and work with cutting-edge technologies
• Independently design and implement new features (Feature Ownership)
• Collaborate closely with local and international development teams
  
  

Your Role as a Team Captain:

Alongside your engineering work, you will play a crucial role in fostering the growth of your team:

• Guide and mentor engineers while remaining involved in hands-on development
• Conduct 1:1 feedback sessions to support team members’ growth and development
• Empower teammates to take on more responsibilities in their technical journeys
• Advocate Dynatrace’s engineering culture, promoting its values and principles
  
  

What Will Help You Succeed

• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Java (C++ experience is a plus)
• Strong knowledge of Java core packages, third-party libraries (Spring, Kafka, Apache, etc.) and application servers (Tomcat)
• Deep understanding of Java Virtual Machine (JVM) internals
• Proven experience in mentoring and supporting other engineers
• A passion for high-performance development and system optimization
• The ability to focus on technical details while maintaining a big-picture perspective
