The Product Owner Role

Qlik is seeking a passionate and skilled Product Owner to join our Data Integration Business Unit. In this role, you will take ownership of key data integration and transformation capabilities within our platform.

You will work closely with engineering and design teams to define, deliver, and iterate on features that help our customers seamlessly move, transform, and activate their data.

The product you will produce is a modern, scalable data lake built on Apache Iceberg. It serves as the foundation for data pipelines and transformation workflows, enabling customers to build reliable, high-performance data operations.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

Participating in all aspects of software engineering including designing, planning, coding, verifying, integrating, releasing, and maintaining.
Take full ownership of epics — from design through implementation to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborating with managers, architects, site reliability engineers, quality assurance verifiers, and security office specialists to advance the team roadmap.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a software company.
Proven experience designing tools for data developers\data analysts, or at least a strong foundation in data concepts, data integration, and BI/reporting tools.
Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable product requirements.
Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to actively listen, articulate your perspective, align across teams, and drive consensus.
Experience working closely with data engineers, backend developers, and platform teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Highly self-motivated, well-organized, and effective at leading cross-functional initiatives
Technical background or degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.

The location for this role is:

Tel-Aviv, Israel (Hybrid, 2 days a week)
