The Center for Educational Technology is looking for an Economist to join our finance team.

Responsibilities

• develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with the company's strategic objectives.
• Manage the annual budget and financial forecasting process and provide monthly and quarterly reports and insightful performance analyses.
• Assist with the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Preparation and control of financial reports.
• Collaborate with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics/Accounting/Business Management.
• At least 3-5 years of experience as an economist.
• The ability to evaluate workload and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong interest in and experience in developing process improvements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proficient in using ERP system - advantage.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and function as a team member.
• Excellent communication and creative problem-solving skills are required.
• Highly organized individual.
• Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks.
