Senior Backend Engineer, Internal Tools

We’re looking for a passionate, self-starting, senior-level backend developer to join our global team of innovative engineers.

In this special ops-style role, you’ll tackle the most interesting challenges—working in a small team or independently, with minimal bureaucracy and maximum impact. In this role you'll

• Help build smart, GenAI-powered internal automation tools , driving efficiency across the company
• You’ll tackle the most interesting challenges in a small team or independently
• Leverage our in-house autonomous tools to manage the entire development flow, from setting up our development environment to creating git branches and deploying services to production
• Collaborate closely with operations teams across the company
• Be the owner of your domain to ensure consistent code quality, performance, and scalability of our products

What you’ll need

• 6+ years working as a backend engineer
• BSc in Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
• Proficient in TypeScript, and Node.js
• Broad knowledge of modern backend frameworks, tools, and architecture
• Experience working with Bots, AI, and LLMs
• A self-starter with a relentless passion for building exceptional software
• Experience working on high scale, production-grade projects
• Past contributions to open source projects, a plus
• Ability to work in an office environment a minimum of 3 days a week
