Product Manager – Sales and Product manager, Immersion UT Tanks (Aerospace MRO & Ordnance)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced customer-oriented Product Manager to lead the enhancement of our portfolio of immersion UT tank solutions for the aerospace MRO and ordnance markets. This pivotal role will work directly with customers, lead product strategy, positioning, commercial success, and sales working closely with engineering, distribution chain to deliver innovative, market-leading solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product lifecycle for immersion UT tank systems in the markets of aerospace MRO and Ordinance — from ideation and development to launch, market adoption, and customer success.
• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned with company goals and market demands.
• Work directly with customers and market entities to collect and prioritize requirements and feedback to formulate product roadmap.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to define product requirements and ensure successful execution.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise, product positioning, and customer presentations.
• Conduct competitive analysis, monitor industry trends, and identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
• Develop go-to-market strategies, value propositions, and sales enablement materials tailored to the aerospace MRO and ordnance sectors.
• Build business cases for new product initiatives, including financial analysis and ROI projections.
• Participate in key customer engagements, industry events, and trade shows to represent ScanMaster and gather market intelligence1.
• Provide training and support to internal teams and customers as needed4.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related technical field. Materials engineering or NDT are a preference.
• MBA is an advantage.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, product marketing, or technical sales of capital equipment, preferably in NDT and/ or aerospace sectors.
• Wide technical understanding with the ability to communicate complex product features and benefits to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset and understanding of commercial relationships and project management.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with senior customer contacts and industry experts.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, operations) in a matrixed environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Excellent English skills in discussion, reading and writing. Additional languages may be an advantage.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience in ultrasonic testing (UT), other NDT or inspection technologies.
• Familiarity with aerospace MRO and/or ordnance market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
• Proactive, and results-oriented approach with a passion for driving growth and innovation.
