A Day in the Life

Post Market R&D team is looking for a senior Software engineer to lead the Software activities for the released products, this includes maintenance and development activities that answer field, regulation, and marketing new needs.

Our Medtronic site in Yokne’am has a reach product portfolio and we provide solutions that helps our patients to elevating pain, restoring health and extending life.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Task Management and Supervision: Lead software and DevOps tasks, delegate responsibilities, and supervise team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Software and Firmware Management: Oversee updates and compliance for legacy software systems, troubleshoot firmware issues, and manage migration to updated technologies
• Source Control and Code Maintenance: Migrate and maintain legacy code bases
• Environment Management: Manage installation, configuration, and licensing for various development environments and tools
• Documentation Management: Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive Software Development Lifecycle Documentation, including design and verification documents, to ensure alignment with project goals and compliance standards
• Technical and Stakeholder Support: Provide technical support, act as the primary contact for inquiries, and manage vendor relationships.
  
  

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Software Development: Proficiency in C#, C++, Python, JavaScript, and experience with WPF, WinForms, and Embarcadero for application and embedded systems development
• DevOps and Automation: Skilled in Azure pipelines development, PowerShell scripting, and Windows customization for task automation and CI/CD processes
• Installation and Configuration: Expertise in using InstallShield and Advanced Installer for software packaging and deployment management
• Version Control and Database Management: Proficient with GIT and SVN for source control, and familiar with SQL for database operations
• Security and Compliance: Ability to create and maintain Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs) and conduct security assessments
• Documentation and Productivity Tools: Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation, with strong skills in maintaining detailed lifecycle documentation and process management.
