I'm looking for an experienced hardware engineer & board designer to take a key part in developing our next top of the line mm-wave radar. In this position you will be responsible for developing the radar hardware starting from conceptual architecture, through detailed design, bring-up and manufacturing, to mass production. This role requires excellent understanding in radar design and technologies and tight cooperation within our teams: HW, FW, System, Algo, SW and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
- Design, bring-up RF and Digital High speed boards and products.
- Debug and validate RF, Analog and Digital designs.
- Investigate present and evaluate new hardware solutions and/or PoC.
- Review and evaluate designs of outsourced projects.
- Support for PCB manufacturing and assembly.
- Generate necessary documents for all categories listed above, such as SOW, PRD, CDR, BOM, test plan, FA report, etc.
Qualifications
- B.Sc in Electrical engineering
- At least 7 years industry experience in high-speed digital hardware design and/or RF design.
- Radar systems experience – Major advantage
- Must-have experience in all aspects of hardware design including schematics capture, PCB layout, documentation, bring-up and design validations.
- Must-have experience in common interfaces, PCIe, 40GE, 10GE, 1GE, DDR4, SPI, I2C, USB, MIPI, UART.
- Excellent knowledge of SI and PI for high-speed designs.
- Excellent knowledge of DC/DC switching power supply including Linear regulators.
- Strong proficiency in Altium.
- Familiarity with design for compliance/regulatory testing.
- Familiarity with lab equipment, oscilloscope, VNA, Power Meter and thermal chamber.
- Coding skills for data analysis and test equipment automation.
