Medical Engineer

A leading medical center in the Tel Aviv area is looking for a Medical Device Engineer to join the Biomedical Engineering team.

This is a key role involving hands-on work with a wide variety of medical devices, ensuring their functionality, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced clinical environment.

💼 Position Summary:

You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of diverse medical equipment, while working closely with medical and technical teams.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a range of medical devices
• Diagnose malfunctions and carry out repairs, including part replacement and calibration
• Document all work performed, including service reports and inventory updates
• Collaborate with medical staff (doctors, nurses, support teams)
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of new devices
• Provide training and guidance on device operation and safety
• Manage relationships with service providers and vendors
• Generate technical reports and presentations (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Perform additional tasks as required by the department manager

• B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Previous experience in medical device maintenance – strong advantage
• Experience in a hospital setting – strong advantage
• Background in electronics, mechanics, and computer systems – advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics (electrical/mechanical)
• Knowledge of medical regulations and safety standards – advantage
• Technical-level English – required

• Candidates with prior experience in biomedical or medical equipment engineering are highly preferred
• Candidates without experience but with strong technical orientation and relevant education are also welcome to apply

💰 Salary: 15,000–16,000 ILS gross

(Dependent on experience, education, and technical simulation performance)

🕘 Hours: Full-time, Sunday to Thursday
