Backend Developer

We’re looking for a backend developer to take ownership of our core systems and help us scale.

This is a great opportunity to join a strong founding team - work directly under the CTO, shape architecture from the inside out, and ship systems that power real-time, AI-driven insights for some of the industry's largest companies.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve backend services (NestJS or similar), powered by PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Temporal, deployed in Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
• Take end-to-end ownership of backend performance and availability - proactively identify throughput issues, optimize system behavior, and maintain high standards for uptime and stability.
• Own the backend foundation for AI-driven workflows

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with production-grade backend systems
• Strong in Node.js and async patterns
• Skilled in designing distributed systems
• Fluent in Kubernetes, Helm, and observability tools (Datadog, structured logs)
• Strong communicator who enjoys working hands-on with a fast-paced, collaborative team
• Able to work 4 days/week from our Tel Aviv office (next to HaShalom Station)
