Title: Content Director
Why the role exists xfunnel.ai is a leading startup helping companies improve how they appear on AI search engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google's Gemini. You'll work directly with marketing, content, and growth teams from the biggest and best companies in the world – from well-known SaaS companies to international brands. Our customers turn AI‑search visibility into growth, and strategic guidance sits at the center of that success. As Customer Growth Director, you will serve as a trusted advisor to these elite client teams, helping them define winning growth strategies for AI search engines while feeding critical insights back to our product development.
Reports to: C-level / Co‑Founder
What you'll do
- Be the strategic partner. Serve as trusted advisor to 5–10 of our customers, who are marketing, growth, and content teams from the leading companies in the world.
- Define growth strategies. Help client teams develop comprehensive strategies to increase their visibility and growth on AI search engines.
- Bridge customer needs to product. Translate customer challenges and opportunities into actionable insights for our product and engineering teams.
- Drive customer success. Work closely with clients to ensure they're maximizing value from our platform and achieving their growth objectives.
- Identify market trends. Spot emerging patterns in AI search behavior and customer needs to inform both client strategies and product roadmap.
- Enable internal teams. Package customer insights, success stories, and best practices into resources that help our entire organization better serve clients.
What makes you a fit
- 5+ years leading SEO and content teams at company with global presence.
- Experience in combining content & SEO to drive massive results.
- Proven track record of developing and executing growth strategies that drive measurable results.
- Strong consultative skills with experience advising senior marketing and growth leaders.
- Excellent at translating customer needs into product requirements and strategic recommendations.
- Native‑level English; you'll work with US‑based clients and internal teams daily.
- You’ve managed high caliber marketing teams before
Nice‑to‑haves
- Experience in customer success or client-facing strategic roles.
- Background in AI/LLM‑assisted content creation or search analytics.
- Product‑marketing or go‑to‑market experience
- Programmatic SEO experience.
- Track record of working closely with product and engineering teams.
