DevOps Engineer

This role will focus on automating and supporting IT infrastructure and application deployment processes and tasks to improve our capabilities and service offerings to the R&D Team.

*This role is fully onsite*

Responsibilities:

• Maintain company services by troubleshooting and identifying root causes of issues within systems and subcomponents
• Use testing, monitoring, and validation to ensure smooth and continuous deployment of new service versions with minimal interruptions for the R&D team
• Identify opportunities for innovation, refining, and developing automation and tools to reduce manual operations
• Meet business and customer requirements through proactive service and infrastructure improvements
  
  

• 10+ years Windows and Linux systems administration
• 2+ years provisioning, operating, and managing AWS/VMWare/Kubernetes environments
• Proficient with AWS services: Compute and Network, Storage and CDN, Database, Analytics, Application Services, Deployment, and Management
• Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking
• Familiarity interacting with AWS APIs
• Experience in building automation pipelines with CI/CD tools - Jenkins, git, Docker, Airflow
• Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming (PowerShell, Jenkins, Python, Bash)
• Extensive experience in Python programming, including writing production-quality code.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and services, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RADIUS.
• Experience with storage technologies, such as SAN, NAS, or object storage, and their integration with virtualized environments.

• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred
