Software Team Lead

GK8 is looking for a talented and experienced R&D Team Lead to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, take full ownership of infrastructure-related projects, and contribute to the development of secure, scalable systems. You will guide your team through the full development lifecycle—from design and architecture to implementation, code review, and deployment—while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled backend engineers
• Recruit top talent and support team members’ professional growth
• Take ownership of infrastructure tools and core platform components
• Drive projects end-to-end: from inception, design, and task management to implementation and deployment
• Review code, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, DevOps, and security

Recuirements:

• Hands-On R&D Team Lead with 2+ years of experience in managing Backend Engineers
• Developed using C++ 11 and above for 2+ years
• You care about making an impact
• A great leadership skills, proven architecture/design skills and knowledge in a wide range of technologies
• Graduate of Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
