Geo Analyst - Spatial Analysis

The Opportunity

Join our team as a Geo Analyst and join our experts team, which specializes in processing high-quality geographic data, databases, and layers, driving innovative solutions in the GIS world. Dive into technical research, automated process development, and critical decision-making to revolutionize real-time infrastructure data accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Process and analyze geographic data, databases, and tabular data with a focus on high-quality outputs.
• Conduct technical research, assess the relevance and quality of geographic data layers, and make informed decisions regarding their usability.
• Contribute to the development of broader automated processes aimed at enhancing data analysis capabilities.
• Design tools for statistical analysis and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy in handling geographic data.
• Utilize expertise in GIS and mapping to interpret and manipulate geographic data effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy and relevance of geospatial information for real-time data product features.
  
  

• 2+ years of experience as a Geo Analyst in the IDF or equivalent.
• Proficient in data processing and analysis, with experience in handling geographic data, databases, and tabular data
• Proficiency in Python and SQL to drive workflow optimization and process improvements - Advantage
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and automation techniques - Advantage
• Strong understanding of GIS principles and applications. Experience working with geospatial data, including interpretation, manipulation, and visualization.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct technical research, assess data quality, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
