Automation Team Lead

What are we looking for:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Team Lead to join our team. This role will involve leading a team of 3 automation engineers to deliver high-quality automation solutions across our entire R&D department.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in automation engineering with at least 5 years of experience, strong leadership capabilities, and proficiency in Python.

responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of 3 automation engineers, ensuring delivery of efficient and effective automation solutions
• Provide comprehensive automation services to the R&D division, focusing on infrastructure and test automation
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks and tools to support ongoing projects
• Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure the code's quality and adherence to best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation efforts with project goals and organizational objectives
• Manage the team’s roadmap and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
• 60% hands-on technical work - Infrastructure and writing automation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automation engineer
• Minimum of 3 years of team management
• Proficiency in Python for automation script development
• Experience with automation infrastructure and test automation tools and frameworks
• Prior managerial experience is a plus
• Demonstrated success in developing and sustaining automation solutions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Effective problem-solving skills with a proactive approach
