We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead the local engineering teams of Broadcom Enterprise Security Group. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong technical background and the ability to manage and inspire engineering teams. As the Engineering Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end technical and operational management of our Web Isolation and ZTNA product lines. This includes building engineering roadmaps, managing the software development lifecycle, driving engineering excellence and overseeing budget management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring robust collaboration between engineering and business functions. You will report to a Senior Director of Engineering of Broadcom Enterprise Security Group and be part of a global engineering leadership team.

What You Will Be Doing

• Manage, lead, and align a group of managers and engineers of the local Broadcom Enterprise Security Group (:70 employees), providing guidance and support to ensure the team’s success.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects within budget, timeline, and resource constraints.
• Recruit, hire, retain, and mentor top engineering talent to help your team evolve and grow while achieving company goals
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and handle high profile escalations.
• Shape engineering culture, vision and development processes.
• Own the mission, planning, execution, morale, and code quality of the team.
• Collaborate effectively with Product Management and the global engineering leadership team to drive strategic planning, to influence product roadmaps and customer success.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project status, key metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in software development, with expertise in designing and building scalable systems with cloud architecture in a SaaS company.
• Minimum of 7 years in an engineering leadership role (managing managers).
• Deep familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure and architectures, with the ability to understand and drive engineering processes effectively.
• In-depth understanding of running high available cloud products with 24/7 support and monitoring.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to be flexible and comfortable working in a dynamic environment with rapid changes
• Experience operating in a global environment and working with teams across multiple geographies
• Strong English written/verbal communication skills.
  
  

• Previous background in the cybersecurity industry
• Familiarity with modern development stack - CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
