We’re growing fast at Galam, and we’re looking for skilled maintenance director /plant engineer who are excited by complex, hands-on operations.

We’re based in Kibbutz Maanit, and our site includes:

• Two well-established process manufacturing plants
• Two brand-new FoodTech factories
• A third new plant currently in advanced planning
• Some of the most advanced infrastructure in the industry—including a cogeneration facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary maintenance team (40 employees) including team leaders in electricity, mechanics, instrumentation and control.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of advanced production machinery.
• Manage team leaders and collaborate with plants managers.
• Lead projects and manage contractors and service providers.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and ensure availability of required technical equipment.
• Report directly to the VP of Operations.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering – or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in industrial plant maintenance and/or engineering and project management – mandatory.
• Languages: Fluent Hebrew and English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in Outlook and Excel – mandatory.
• Experience in maintenance of automation and control systems.
• Advantage: Familiarity with TPM methodology and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
