The Role

We are seeking a world-class CTO to lead the development and optimization of our eCommerce platform, data infrastructure, and technology stack. You will own the technical roadmap and data strategy end-to-end, ensuring the business has the visibility and tools it needs to scale efficiently and intelligently.

This is a unique opportunity for a deeply technical, highly analytical, and commercially minded leader to shape the future of a breakout DTC brand.

What you'll own

• Technology & Infrastructure
• Lead the long-term technology roadmap to support rapid eCommerce growth & operational excellence.
• Hands on development to continually optimize the Shopify ecosystem - ensuring top-tier performance, conversion, and CX.
• Evaluate, implement, and maintain scalable technology solutions across the business.
• Design, develop and implement A/B tests to optimize website performance and user experience, ensuring website efficiency
• Data infrastructure
• Build and lead the company's data infrastructure - create a single source of truth integrating data from Shopify, GA4, Meta, Klaviyo, TikTok, etc.
• Build and maintain the company Data warehouse
• Empower all functions - growth, CX, product, operations - with access to relevant, updated date
• Leadership & Strategy
• serve as thought partner to the CEO and leadership team, contributing to cross-functional planning and decision-making
• As the company scales - hire, grow and lead a team of engineers, analysts, and data scientists

Who are you

• 8+ years of experience in senior technical or data leadership roles in high-growth DTC or eCommerce businesses.
• A strong technical foundation — you’ve led development across Shopify and/or headless architectures, and understand the full eComm stack.
• Deep experience building or managing modern data ecosystems (ETL pipelines, data warehousing, visualization tools).
• Hands-on background in CRO and experimentation frameworks.
• Strategic thinker with an operator’s mindset — you know how to prioritize for business impact.
• Highly collaborative and communicative — you love working across teams to drive clarity and alignment.
• Passionate about brand-building and excited by the pace and scrappiness of a fast-growing startup.
• (Nice to have) Experience scaling a brand from 8-figures to 9-figures in revenue.
• (Nice to have) Prior startup or founder experience.
