Vice President Finance

We are a fast-growing financial services firm, providing outsourced CFO and controllership services to high-tech and startup companies. We are currently seeking a talented and driven VP finance to join our team and take ownership of several client accounts. The role includes hands-on financial leadership for startups as well as participation in internal firm management and business development initiatives.

This is a challenging and rewarding role with strong growth potential into a senior management position.

Qualifications

• CPA certified
• Significant audit experience with high-tech clients at one of the Big 4 firms – Mandatory
• Proven experience as a Controller or CFO
• Preference for experience with startups and exposure to a wide range of financial matters

Professional Experience Should Include:

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust-based relationships with company CEOs
• Ability to prepare and present management reports and dashboards to senior leadership
• Business-oriented mindset, with the ability to act as a strategic financial partner to startup clients
• Basic understanding of international taxation and experience supporting global growth
• Experience in fundraising support
• Expertise in budget management, P&L reporting, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis
• High-level accounting knowledge, including preparation of US GAAP financial statements and tax filings
• Deep understanding of bookkeeping processes
• Ability to manage and review bookkeepers' work at a high professional standard
