We are looking for an experienced VMware & Storage/Linux to join our server team, responsible for managing and maintaining critical production systems. This role requires strong expertise in VMware and storage/backup technologies to ensure the health, performance, and reliability of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and optimize performance of existing systems
- Build performance and capacity reports and set up monitoring alerts
- Conduct resource capacity planning
- Build and maintain disaster recovery (DR) systems and procedures
- Oversee storage and backup operations, ensuring efficient backups and restorations
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a production environment
- Proficiency with VMware vSphere
- Experience with Dell Storage and backup systems
- Strong understanding of SAN switch administration and configuration
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Fluent in English
Strong Advantages:
- Experience with Linux servers
- Familiarity with Dell Blade systems
- Experience with SAN switches (Brocade or Cisco)
- Knowledge of Disaster Recovery systems and procedures
