SAP SLCM Team Leader

The Technion is offering a position in the field of information systems implementation, working with SAP – the world's most widespread and prominent information system.

We are seeking a Team Leader to head the Student Lifecycle Management (SLCM) system, who is passionate about professional and technological challenges and is interested in joining a leading team at the Technion. This team supports applications related to the teaching lifecycle across the campus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Head of the SAP Department and the Vice President for Computing and Information Systems
• Full responsibility for all SAP SLCM applications
• Professional and managerial responsibility for SLCM (Student Lifecycle Management – Academic Domain) implementers
• Gathering client requirements, prioritizing them, and defining an annual work plan
• Professional guidance in working with software vendors, task prioritization, and execution tracking
• Collaborating with business unit managers to understand and analyze business needs
• Ongoing monitoring of team task completion according to the work plan
• Providing regular and up-to-date reporting on the progress of the work plan
• Managing and regularly updating the knowledge base and documentation related to the SLCM system
• Preparing presentations and materials as needed for management meetings
• Developing and implementing work procedures for the SLCM system, including user training
• Mapping and regulating authorization topics within the SLCM system
• Responsibility for monitoring programs, jobs, and reports within the application

Requirements:

• Academic degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, or Computer Science
• Knowledge and experience in SAP-based system implementation and working according to information security protocols
• Proven ability to manage work teams and track/report on tasks
• Experience and ability to present topics to audiences
• High self-learning ability
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High proficiency in Hebrew and English
