We are looking for a Professional Services Engineer to join our Professional Services team. The ideal candidate will oversee technical and operational issues raised by customers and internal business teams alongside the development of new solutions, utilities and product customizations. In addition, you will diagnose, troubleshoot and pivot technical and operational challenges at hand with product, data, and development teams. We are looking for a highly technical team member that will be able to own the support activity from end to end.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the customer’s business, identify the customer’s pain points, and provide a tailored solution based on the product portfolio to address the customer’s needs
- Research technical issues and identify potential solutions while providing prompt and accurate feedback
- Develop solutions, services and product customizations in accordance with the company’s R&D processes and policies
- Properly communicate and escalate customer’s requirements and unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (software developers and product)
- Lead business and operational/technical discussions with external and internal customers
Requirements:
- 2 years of proven programming experience (You will be requested to provide relevant coding examples)
- Familiarity with SQL & Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- In-depth knowledge of Internet protocols
- Ability to lead a business discussion with customers while presenting performance trends and business goals
- Strong technical skills with the ability to understand and troubleshoot system and application flows, dive deep into complex problems, and find their root cause
- Interest and orientation in data, metrics, analysis, and trends and applying knowledge of measurement, statistics, and program evaluation
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills
