Software Engineer

About Us:

At AVT, we develop and manufacture multidisciplinary quality assurance systems for the print industry.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining software products/systems.
• Proven experience in server-side development on Windows using C# and .NET.
• Hands-on experience with multithreaded programming.
• Strong experience in database work, preferably with SQL Server.
• Experience in WPF and MVVM architecture.
• Experience in working within Agile development environments.
• Ability to write clean, high-quality code and deploy it to production.
• Familiarity with design patterns and experience developing systems from scratch.
• Ability to write comprehensive Design Review documents.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-learner with a “can-do” attitude, creativity, and initiative.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• High level of accountability, task ownership, multi-tasking, perseverance, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally.

Advantages (Nice to Have):

• Experience with LINQ, OData, and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets APIs, WCF, IIS, RabbitMQ.
• Experience with React.js, Redux, Hooks, Express.js, Node.js, Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Experience with Docker – working with images and containers (end-to-end).
• Working knowledge of communication protocols such as AMQP, S/FTP, HTTP/S, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
• Experience with TFS (Team Foundation Server).
• Familiarity with unit testing methodologies.
• Experience in cloud development (AWS, GCP).
• Experience in using and developing AI-based solutions.
