SIEM Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and driven SIEM Engineer to take full ownership of our organizational SIEM system (QRadar). This role is ideal for someone with deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of cybersecurity infrastructure, and the drive to lead system integrations and automation in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the enterprise SIEM system (QRadar).
• Lead log collection processes and connect data sources based on business requirements.
• Parse logs and write business logic rules within the SIEM platform.
• Troubleshoot system issues, including availability during off-hours.
• Integrate and automate workflows between SIEM and other platforms (e.g., SOAR).
• Build dashboards and reports to support cyber threat intelligence and operational visibility.
• Design automations to handle threat intel data and maximize system capabilities.
• Monitor and control log ingestion and server activity via custom tools.
• Manage full system documentation, upgrades, and configuration logs.
• Develop automation logic in SOAR platforms (Palo Alto Cortex SOAR preferred).

Requirements:

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field – advantage.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity – must.
• 2+ years of experience managing and maintaining QRadar SIEM – must.
• Experience integrating with APIs and extracting data – must.
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows and Linux environments – must.
• Proven experience in parsing and normalizing complex logs – must.
• Deep understanding of cyber threats and SIEM architecture – must.
• Experience integrating with Palo Alto SOAR – strong advantage.
• Scripting abilities in PowerShell or Python – advantage.
• Experience in project management – advantage.
• Background in banking or finance environments – advantage.
