Quality Assurance Engineer

A startup company developing autonomous robots for building envelope maintenance, combining advanced computer vision, AI, and unique mechanical design into a lightweight.

Their solution is universal and fully autonomous, enabling significant improvements in operational efficiency, safety, cost, and aesthetics. The product addresses a strong market need and the company is already working with numerous potential customers.

The company is currently in a growth phase, with new sites recently launched in Texas and Japan.

The team consists of 25 employees, all working onsite at their Tel Aviv office, conveniently located near a train station.

Role Overview:

• This is a new position, establishing the testing and QA domain from scratch.
• You’ll report directly to the VP, with a future management track as additional team members are expected to join.
• Responsible for both hardware and software testing of the robotic systems.
• Work with technologies such as: SLAM, Machine Vision, Path Planning, Navigation, Obstacle Avoidance, Image Processing, Numerical Optimization, Control Systems.

Requirements-

● Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.

● 3+ years of experience in QA for robotics or embedded systems.

● Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and issue tracking (Jira). ● Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with ROS 2, Gazebo, and computer vision testing.

● Proficiency in Python, ROS, and test automation tools.

● Knowledge of robotic safety standards.
