Software Engineering Team Lead

A public global Fintech company, providing financial infrastructure that enables businesses to expand globally working with customers and suppliers across borders, receiving payments in local currencies, and using convenient payment methods.

The product is a working capital management platform that allows clients to manage customer and supplier accounts and perform international payments in multiple currencies simultaneously.

The company serves over 4 million users across 200 countries, handling transactions in more than 150 currencies. Its customer base includes small and medium-sized businesses.

The company has over 1,500 employees worldwide, with 900 based in Israel. The R&D center is currently located in Petah Tikva They operate in a hybrid work model of 3 days from home, which will continue after the move.

Role Overview:

• Join a core group responsible for 80% of the company's total revenue.
• Provide production support to 5,000+ partners a high-impact, customer-facing team.
• Lead a team of 5–7 developers, combining management of current team members with new hiring.
• Around 50% hands-on development.
• Work heavily with APIs and systems at scale.
• Tech stack includes: RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka, Microservices, SQL, C#, React, Dynatrace, Grafana.

Requirements-

• 5 + years of experience as a server side developer
• 5+ years of managerial experience, leading development of customer-facing products– a must!
• 3+ years of experience with SQL
• 2+ years experience with observability systems
• Broad knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
• Team player attitude and mentality.
• Experienced and passionate about managing and growing people.
• Experience in engineering best practices
• Ambitious and eager to learn new things.
