Data Scientist

SignalPET is a technology and AI leader in the veterinary field. Using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and patented technology, SignalPET assists veterinarians in diagnosing and treating companion animals worldwide.

Responsibilities

As part of the algorithm team you will:

• Understand deeply, implement, train, and evaluate recent state-of-the-art algorithms in computer vision (e.g. classification, object detection, semantic segmentation, vision transformers) for *xray* images and medical data
• Working Closely with the product and Medical team to evaluate models and manage the data pipelines
• Adapt algorithms into robust and scalable production-ready algorithms.
• Write clean and efficient code, ensuring compatibility with existing systems and frameworks and real-time needs.
• Take full responsibility for your algorithms end-to-end until deployment for production.
• Develop and implement new computer vision algorithms (architectures, loss functions, post processing, training and evaluation methods) that surpass SOTA algorithms and achieve desired performance levels in our domain.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in deep learning, computer vision, and machine learning in Python.
• M.Sc in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering - advantage
• Proficiency in Python and relevant platforms, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
