U.S. Tax preparer

Role Description

We are looking for a full-time U.S. Tax Preparer to join our growing team in Tel Aviv. In this on-site role, you will play a key part in helping U.S. taxpayers stay compliant and plan smartly by preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1120, and 1065.

You will work directly with clients to collect required documentation, offer tax insights, and ensure accurate and timely filings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review U.S. federal tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065)
• Communicate with clients to collect tax documents and clarify issues
• Ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws and filing deadlines
• Provide tax planning support and basic advisory services
• Collaborate with internal team members to resolve complex filing scenarios

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of U.S. tax preparation experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations and forms
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• CPA license preferred
• Prior experience in a CPA firm or tax-focused environment is a plus
