The Group

Samsung SIRC Red Team is responsible for research, development, and in-depth analysis of algorithms. Our goal is to make reliable algorithms, which perform great under all conditions. We leverage cutting-edge tools, including state-of-the-art deep neural networks and even immersive 3D engines like Omniverse for data synthesis and algorithm evaluation. The impact of our work extends to Samsung's most popular products, including the mobile devices you use daily. What will you do?

In this role, you will be tasked with creating cutting-edge algorithms to tackle a range of challenges spanning computer vision, image processing, machine learning, and optimization. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• In-depth exploration of both academic and industry-based solutions
• Identification of right figures of merits (usually, in real-life, they differ from academy)
• Design and development of your own algorithm
• Close collaboration with hardware and software teams to bring your algorithms from concept to product
• If your work proves publication worthy – write a paper!

Requirements

• MSc/PhD in Math / CS / EE / Physics or related fields
• Experience in Deep Learning
• Experience with Python, TensorFlow / PyTorch
• Capability of rapid prototyping
