Embedded Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement embedded software in C++ for real-time and resource-constrained environments.
• Work closely with hardware and system teams to define software interfaces and ensure seamless integration.
• Participate in system architecture, software design, and requirements definition.
• Develop, debug, and test firmware and low-level software components.
• Perform board bring-up, device driver development, and real-time task management.
• Ensure reliability, performance, and safety of software in compliance with defense standards.
• Document design and development processes according to company and industry standards.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in C++ development for embedded systems.
• Solid understanding of RTOS, multithreading, and real-time constraints.
• Experience working directly with hardware, peripherals, and low-level interfaces (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
• Familiarity with development and debugging tools for embedded systems (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Experience working in Linux or bare-metal environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Advantages:

• Experience with ARM-based microcontrollers or SoCs.
• Familiarity with static code analysis tools and MISRA C/C++ compliance.
• Experience in defense, avionics, or aerospace domains.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, etc.).
• Experience with CMake, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for embedded projects.
• Active or eligible security clearance – a significant advantage.
