Key Responsibilities:
- Define and analyze system-level requirements based on customer needs and operational scenarios.
- Develop and manage system architecture, interfaces, and specifications.
- Lead system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and ensure alignment with customer expectations and project goals.
- Coordinate and interface with internal development teams (hardware, software, algorithms, mechanical, QA).
- Support integration, verification, validation (IV&V), and system testing – both in-lab and in-field.
- Generate and maintain system documents, including SOWs, SRSs, ICDs, and design descriptions.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Participate in technical risk assessment, trade-off analysis, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering for complex multidisciplinary systems – defense or aerospace experience preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a system-wide perspective.
- Hands-on experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, JAMA) – an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
Advantages:
- M.Sc. in Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD), IDF, or international defense organizations.
- Familiarity with defense standards, military systems integration, and field testing.
- Active security clearance – a significant advantage.
