A fast-growing startup in the drone technology space, developing innovative solutions for drone detection and tracking, is looking for a Digital Hardware Lead to join its multidisciplinary R&D team.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹Lead the specification, design, and development of digital hardware systems based on FPGAs and GPUs.
🔹Define hardware requirements, assess design alternatives, produce schematics, and oversee manufacturing and lab testing.
🔹Drive the design of antenna systems with digital beam-steering capabilities, including system-level architecture analysis and optimization.
🔹Develop models and algorithms using MATLAB to support system design and performance evaluation.
🔹Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
🔹Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the hardware team.
Requirements:
🔹15+ years of hands-on experience in digital circuit design, including FPGA and GPU-based systems.
🔹5+ years of experience in antenna design with digital beam-steering, and strong understanding of system-level tradeoffs.
🔹Extensive experience with MATLAB for simulation and analysis.
🔹Strong system-level perspective and architecture understanding.
🔹Background in radar systems – an advantage.
🔹B.Sc. or higher in Electrical Engineering.
