Assistant Controller

🚨 We're Hiring | Assistant Controller

📍 Tel Aviv | On-site | Defense-Tech Company | Near Train Line

A leading defense-tech company developing, manufacturing, and marketing advanced protection systems is looking for an Assistant Controller to join the finance team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

🔹 Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with Israeli GAAP, including tax reports, working papers, and supporting data

🔹 Generate ongoing performance and activity reports for senior management

🔹 Oversee and manage cash flow, annual budgeting, and monthly budget control

🔹 Monitor customer balances and ensure accurate reporting

🔹 Collaborate with external auditors (including Big 4 firms)

🔹 Partner with internal finance functions and cross-functional business units

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Mandatory

✔️ 1–2 years of experience as an Assistant Controller or post-internship in audit – Mandatory

✔️ Hands-on experience preparing financial and tax reports in Israel – Mandatory

✔️ Advanced Excel and Office Suite skills

✔️ Experience with Priority ERP – Major Advantage

✔️ Previous work experience in a tech company – Advantage

✔️ High-level English and Hebrew

✔️ Independent, detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
