Senior Python Developer

A cyber company is looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our growing Data Engineering Team and take part in revolutionizing the Automation Engine for the company flagship product. As a python developer you will be part of the Data Engineering team and responsible for designing and implementing new features capabilities of our Automation Engine, and maintaining the automated tools.

Responsibilities:

• Design, test and implement Data-Platform infrastructures to support high-scale data ingestion, transformation and processing
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support the data models and ensure scalability and performance.
• Develop state of the art software components, while applying best practices and coding standards. Test and debug to ensure functionality, stability, and continuous deployment of the Automation engine.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project objectives, and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience with developing cloud-based data applications.
• Proven experience with deployment of data pipelines.
• 2-3 years of practical experience as a Python developer. Experience with Python data frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy and Matplotlib.
• Proven experience as a member in a developing team, with solid understanding of software development principles, concepts, and best practices, as well version control tools such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
• Hardworking and dedicated individual with a drive to create and implement new ideas and concepts.
• Experience with GCP and K8s- advantage
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience with ElasticSearch, SQL database - advantage
