Application Security Architect

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Application Security Architect to play a key role in strengthening its application security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and develop application security policies, standards, and best practices
• Conduct security assessments for applications and systems
• Integrate security controls across the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to provide security solutions and remediation guidance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry-standard security frameworks

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in application security
• In-depth understanding of SSDLC and secDevOps tools (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA)
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., C, .Net, Java, Python, JavaScript)
• Solid understanding of complex distributed system architecture – both on-premise and cloud-based
• Familiarity with common security standards and methodologies (e.g., OWASP Top 10, NIST)
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills
• A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn and collaborate

Nice to Have:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Security
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP
• Experience performing security reviews and threat modeling
• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards such as ISO27001, PCI, GDPR
