Unity Developer (Games Division)

We are looking for an experienced Unity Developer to join an innovative and fast-moving team within Papaya in Tel Aviv, Israel.

We are looking for a Unity Developer to join our team and work on the meta-features, long-term retention systems, and game progression of our tournament-driven game. You will play a key role in designing and developing features that enhance player engagement, collectibles, rewards, and overall game longevity.

You will work closely with game designers, backend developers, and UX/UI teams to build and maintain systems that keep players engaged beyond core gameplay, including progression mechanics, live events, and in-game economies.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, high-quality code.
• Full ownership and delivering feature from a-z.
• Work on long retention meta features.
• Optimizing the game for the best performance on all supported devices.
• Design, implement and innovate features with cutting-edge technologies.
• Make sure the games maintain excellent performance and a great user experience.
  
  

• 3+ years of experience working as a Unity Developer.
• A proven track record of delivering projects in unity.
• B.Sc in computer science or equivalent.
• A team player who enjoys working with others.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Passion for games.
• Familiar with await and async tasks - an advantage.
• Experience in iOS and Android in Unity development and deployment - an advantage.
