Vice President of Engineering

Leading enterprise retailers and brands use Bringg to grow their delivery capacity, reduce costs, and improve customer experiences. Every year, we process over 200 million orders through our smart, automated omnichannel platform experience.

We are seeking a technical and experienced VP of Engineering to join the leadership of the R&D department, which includes over 45 engineers, reporting to the CPTO. As a key leader in our organization, you will drive the development and execution of our technical vision, ensuring that our platform continues to scale and innovate.

The team is responsible for a real-time high-scale production system with enterprise clients relying on it while solving complex technical problems and business use cases.

We’re looking for someone who’s a technologist at heart, excited by complex systems, passionate about building great development processes from the ground up, and committed to growing people as much as product.

What do you need to Bringg?

• Leadership Experience: 5+ years leading engineering teams of 30+ developers and team leads.
• SaaS & Cloud Expertise: Proven experience in SaaS companies utilizing public cloud environments, with a strong preference for B2B experience.
• Complex Logic Development: Demonstrated ability in developing and managing intricate business logic systems.
• High-Scale Production Systems: Experience with complex, high-scale production environments featuring continuous deployment.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with our technology stack is highly valued, including: Node.js, OOP/OOD, design patterns, SQL & NoSQL databases, Ruby, RabbitMQ, GRPC, Kafka, Docker, WebSockets, and related technologies.
• Front-End Advantage: Prior front-end development experience is a plus.
