Mechanical Designer

Job Description:

This position is perfect for a Practical Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with hands-on experience and a thorough understanding of mechanical design processes. Responsibilities:

·      Design and engineering of innovative mechanical systems and units, while also creating functional models, assembling components, and producing detailed technical drawings.

·      Undertake redesigns of existing systems and units to optimize functionality.

·      Develop assembly drawings and provide clear, step-by-step instructions for assembly.

·      Act as the technical point of contact between the company and external suppliers, manufacturers, and contractors.

·      Manage project time effectively to ensure efficient progress and meet deadlines across multiple projects.

Job Requirements:

·      Degree in Practical Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

·      At least 2-5 years of experience in mechanical design with SolidWorks software

·      Expertise in creating and interpreting engineering drawings, including a strong understanding of GD&T.

·      Proven ability in mechanical innovation and problem-solving within design constraints.

·      Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed technical documentation and specifications.

·      Strong negotiation skills to handle complex design discussions with suppliers.

·      Knowledge of different manufacturing processes, coating, and treatment types and methods.

·      Ability to work well within a team as well as independently, with a results-driven, open-minded approach.

·      Fluent in English and Hebrew, with proficiency in both speaking and writing.
