yad2's Sales Division is the company's primary engine for revenue and growth. It's built around four core verticals: Automotive, Real Estate, Job Board, and Re-commerce. The team includes Account Managers (both inside sales and field-based), Customer Success Managers, and Growth & Operations Managers. We're looking for a sharp, data-driven Business Analyst Team Lead to join our Sales team at yad2, Israel's leading digital marketplace. If you're passionate about turning numbers into business value, love working cross-functionally, and thrive in a fast-paced environment—this one's for you.
What you'll be doing:
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and recommend data-driven strategies
- Build comprehensive pricing strategies, models and measure P&L for different projects
- Manage a team of analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development
- Analyze sales performance and customer behavior data to uncover actionable insights
- Build and maintain real-time dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI)
- Develop and maintain sales forecasting models to support planning and performance
- Monitor KPIs, profitability, and conversion trends—translating data into clear business recommendations
- Lead cross-functional data projects from scoping through execution in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Prepare presentations for monthly reviews
- Communicate complex data in a clear, compelling way to both technical and non-technical audiences
Your skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally in sales or e-commerce within a digital/product-focused company
- Experience managing analysts or demonstrated leadership experience in guiding analyst teams and stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL, with hands-on experience building dashboards and reports
- Strong command of BI tools such as Power BI, Databricks or similar
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with modern data systems and infrastructure
- Excellent analytical thinking and a strong business-oriented mindset
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to tell a compelling story through data
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive, independent working style
- Strong multitasking and time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
