System Engineering Leader – Insulin Pump Development | InnoCAT

Location: Kfar Yehoshua.

 Full-Time | Medical Device Startup | Immediate Start.

InnoCAT is a fast-moving, innovation-driven startup on a mission to empower the lives of people with diabetes through a smarter, simpler insulin delivery system. Backed by a strong IP portfolio and a functional MVP, we’re moving rapidly toward FDA submission. We're lean, focused, and driven by impact.

We are looking for a System Leader to take the helm of our system integration and execution efforts, ensuring our multidisciplinary team delivers a safe, effective, and compliant device — on time and with excellence.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the System Requirements Specification (SRS) and ensure its precise execution across disciplines (SW, HW, Mechanics, Usability, Clinical)
• Lead system architecture definition, interface mapping, and technical alignment between sub-teams
• Translate product intent into verifiable, testable requirements
• Ensure traceability from requirements to design, risk, and test protocols
• Collaborate closely with QA/RA to ensure compliance with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304, and FDA design controls
• Drive system-level integration, verification, and validation
• Be the go-to person for technical coherence, architecture decisions, and cross-functional coordination

 What We’re Looking For:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering
• 5+ years in system engineering for complex medical devices (Class II/III preferred)
• Proven experience leading execution of system requirements in electromechanical systems
• Hands-on mindset — willing to dive into details and push through challenges
• Familiarity with medical device standards: ISO 13485, IEC 60601, ISO 14971, IEC 62304
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
