Controller for International Subsidiaries

Job Description

A global medical device company, headquartered in Yokneam, developing, manufacturing, and selling endovascular products worldwide, is looking for a controller to oversee the various finance and accounting processes within its foreign subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one position in the industry following the accounting internship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards for all foreign subsidiaries
• Manage tax compliance for all foreign subsidiaries
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures, develop and enforce internal controls and workflows to maximize protection of company assets, receipt of revenue and cost control
• Oversee payroll processes and employee's benefits compliance across all the group foreign subsidiaries
• Assist in financial year audits by attending and resolving audit queries.

Skills and Qualifications

• Professional accounting certification (Certified Accountant)
• Proven accounting experience: ex BIG4 with at least one finance position in the industry, preference for a Hi-tech/Medical company  (total of at least 5 years’ experience)
• Knowledge of accounting standards (mainly US GAAP)
• Capable to work directly and independently with co-peers within the subsidiaries and with external tax and accounting advisors

• Fluent English
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Excel – High level
• Knowledge of Priority ERP – an advantage
• Highly motivated and results driven, with ability to work under pressure with high standard outputs
• Self-learning ability
• Adjustability to a fast-paced business environment
