Algorithms Team Leader

An innovative Israeli startup operating in AI, Robotics, and Computer Vision, developing a unique platform to optimize construction, maintenance, and infrastructure processes through advanced visual data analysis.

The company has approximately 75 employees globally, located in Herzliya (near the train line), operates a hybrid work model (two days remote), recently raised around $40M, and is in a scaling phase with paying global customers.

Role Description-

• Manage a team of 5 algorithm researchers specializing in Computer Vision and Deep Learning.
• Responsible for research, design, and implementation of advanced solutions in Object Detection, Pose Estimation, Segmentation, and Photogrammetry.
• Hands-on development in Python using PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Lead the transition of solutions from research to large-scale production.
• Report directly to the Development Manager; collaborate closely with Product Management and the CTO.
• Drive innovation, including filing patents and publishing research papers.

Key Technologies-

Requirements-

• 10+ years of experience in software and algorithm development, including at least 5 years in Computer Vision and AI.
• 2+ years of experience managing algorithm or AI teams.
• Master’s degree or higher in relevant fields (Computer Science, Physics, Engineering).
• Hands-on experience in Deep Learning development and production deployment.
