Robotics Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, and test robotic mechanisms for dynamic pet tracking and interaction.

• Develop control systems for gimbals, motors, and sensory integration (LiDAR, UWB, cameras).

• Collaborate with AI and embedded systems teams to create emotionally responsive behaviors.

• Integrate VR/AR elements.

• Lead simulations, testing environments, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) frameworks.

• Optimize for power efficiency, safety, reliability, and manufacturing feasibility.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience in building robotic systems (especially involving servo/motor control).

• Solid understanding of kinematics, embedded systems, and sensor fusion.

• Experience with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms for VR development.

• Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) and 3D spatial tracking (Azure Kinect, LiDAR, etc).

• Strong coding skills in C++, Python, and embedded C.

• Ability to work fast in a startup environment, independently and collaboratively.
