About the position:

We are looking for a DevOps Team Leader – a vital member who will guide and lead Salt Security’s esteemed DevOps engineering team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the development platforms and lifecycle processes from inception to execution. Leveraging your expertise, you’ll drive the evolution of our infrastructure, built atop advanced technologies, to accommodate our rapid scaling.

Our team is highly independent and always looking for ways to improve processes – you’ll help cultivate that culture while providing both technical and strategic direction.

Requirements:

• 4+ years leading DevOps teams in high-scale, distributed systems
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes and cloud-native environments, with a focus on AWS cloud and services such as MSK, EKS, RDS, S3, etc.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Flux, ArgoCD)
• Strong command of observability tools like Datadog, Grafana, Coralogix, and Groundcover
• Experience in FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization using tools like AWS Cost Explorer, Zesty, or ScaleOps
• A true leader—motivated, collaborative, and always driving for improvement

Preferred (but not mandatory) experience:

• AWS chops (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Route 53)
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Kafka, MongoDB, Redis, and SingleStore
• Experience in building DevEx tools or workflows
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field
