Senior Backend Developer JB-4233

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join us in building and owning the backend architecture behind a range of secure, data-sensitive internal systems

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to design systems that are clean, auditable, and built for long-term maintainability.

This role combines technical leadership, hands-on development, and a chance to work across several real-world projects in Fintech and operations infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build internal admin panels for transaction approvals and data management
• Develop secure backend services to support client account logic, wallets, and access control
• Design and maintain database schemas to track balances, actions, and transaction history
• Integrate with external APIs such as payment platforms, KYC providers, and transaction tools
• Lay the backend foundations to ensure scalability, security, and long-term system reliability

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience (Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases and data modeling
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable backend services and APIs
• Experience creating internal tools or admin panels for operations or support teams
• Independent and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and architectural thinking.

Preferred Skills / Bonus Experience:

• Experience working on fintech or regulatory-compliant systems
• Familiarity with external APIs (payments, identity verification, KYC/AML, etc.)
• Understanding of secure signing flows or working with hardware-based authentication
• Past work on systems involving customer funds, ledgers, or account management
