Senior Python Developer – FinTech Startup (Hybrid | Tel Aviv)

We’re hiring a Senior Python Developer to join our R&D team in Tel Aviv and help build the backend infrastructure of a cutting-edge mortgage marketplace platform.

About the Role

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend systems. You’ll collaborate closely with our local and international teams to drive forward a next-generation FinTech product that’s transforming the mortgage industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure RESTful APIs and backend services using Python
• Work with Django or Flask/FastAPI frameworks
• Optimize and maintain SQL databases
• Collaborate with DevOps and Product teams to build robust infrastructure and features
• Contribute to architectural decisions and code reviews

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python – required
• 2+ years with Django – or 3+ years with Flask or FastAPI – required
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database design and optimization
• Experience building RESTful APIs
• Hebrew fluency is required

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with Celery, Redis, and Django REST framework
• Exposure to AI tools and integration
• Background in FinTech companies (e.g., Pagaya, BlueVine) – a plus
